1- Panos Kokkinias used a digital camera to shoot his landscape photo. His photograph is shot outside, and therefore it looks as if the photographer did not use any artificial light. The only prop that may have been used in the photo is the tree that the model is pushing. The tree seems not to fit in the landscape, meaning it may be a prop. It does not look as if he photo shopped the picture in any way. It seems as if this photo required no more people then the model, who is shown in the photo, and the photographer. The picture is different then the others included in post one because it is more of a landscape and shot from further away. The other photos are close ups on a object.
2- Imogen Cunningham used film to shoot her photos of plants. She seems to have used artificial lighting. This causes a shadow to be cast on the flower. There are no props used. There are no photo shop edits because it was shot in film. The photographer may have needed help to setup the flower, but it is also a possibility that she had no help in the setup. Cunningham uses plants as the subject in many of her photos. She did a wonderful job capturing the blossoming flower.
3- Irving Penn used film to shoot this man on a motorcycle. The photographer seems to have used artificial light and did an excellent job with exposure in the photo. The only prop that was used is the motorcycle the man is riding. There are no photo shop edits because the photo was shot in film. Like Imogen Cunningham's photo, it is possible that Penn may have had help to shoot this, or he was able to do it on his own. Penn is able to capture the attitude of many people in his photos and this picture is no different.
