Location-Dark Alleyway
Subject-Man Getting Robbed
Time of Day-Night

Put camera strap around neck and flip on/off switch to "ON". Take your left hand and place it under the lens while placing your right hand on the right side of the camera with your pointer finger touching the shutter release button. Place your non-dominant foot in front of you and bend your knees. Adjust the diopter so that when you look through the viewfinder, the numbers on the bottom are in focus. Next, using the main command dial, change the shutter speed to 400. This will allow you to see the punch being thrown by the man in retaliation to the robber. Using the sub-command dial, change the aperture to F12. The aperture is this high due to the amount of light that is given off at night in the dark alleyway. The higher the aperture, the more light that is let in. Next, change your ISO setting to 800 by pushing down on the ISO button and using the main command dial to change it. This ISO may cause the photo to have multiple spots where the colors are grainy and pixilated. Next, change the white balance setting by pushing down on the WB button and using the main command dial to change the setting to the downwards pointing, lightning bolt arrow. This WB setting is flash and allows the camera to make areas of the phot white, which will help in the dark alleyway. Nest use the zoom and focus rings on the lens of the camera to focus the picture. And, wallah. You are now ready to take a picture of a man getting beat up in an alleyway while you stand there and watch.
