Self Criticism About My Wonderful Picture(Which Can Not Be Criticized)

1. In this photo I believe I was successfully able to capture the action of the model outside and the models indoors. It is hard to capture the indoor and outdoor action while still keeping the lighting to a point where you can make out the figures, but I believe I did this very well. Also, my focus is sharp and all my settings, like white balance and shutter speed, appear to be correctly set, although the models indoors were a little dark, it would have been hard to add more light indoors without losing the contrast with the outdoors.
2. I like how I set up the models to show the daily life of this family. I like how I was able to capture the daily duties of each family member. Although there are no emotions shown by the models, when I look at it now, I believe that the dark indoors is a key to the photo. Although I did not plan it, when looking at the photo now, the dark indoors of the house represent a confined place where the family has been stuck, while the light outdoors, which sticks out in the photo, represents a place where the family can look to as a place to escape.
3. I believe, as I said, that the thing I did best in this photo was capturing the actions of the outdoor model while still keeping the indoor models light, adding a nice contrast to the photo. Also, I was able to set up the photo to show all the models in the frame and show their actions. If I were to take this photo again, I would want to use a wider angle lens to be able to capture more family members in the photo or possibly add more actions to the photo.

    Well done.

  2. I really like this photo because it is able to capture both the indoor and outdoor activities without making one more pronounced than the other. The outdoor activity is centered between the two indoor activities and is a little lighter and I think this balances the way you look at the picture rather than just looking at the indoor activities because they are closer. I do not think that you are being too hard on yourself because I completely agree that it would be really difficult to add more light anywhere without offsetting the delicate balance of the image. For future photos though I think trying to add maybe lights from the side might brighten the frame without making the one part of the picture too prominent.
