2. The new size would be 8.64 in. x 17.0 in. The change in canvas size will cause the canvas to have extra space at the top and bottom. This space will be the color that you chose when you changed the canvas extension color.

You would duplicate the background layer by clicking on the layer and dragging it down to the bar at the bottom and placing it on the icon second to the left, which looks like a post-it note being peeled off. You would delete the layer by again dragging the layer down to the bar at the bottom and placing it on the icon that looks like a trash-bin, which is furthest to the left.
5. You would make a folder by clicking on the icon on the bar at the bottom that looks like a manila folder. This will create a folder that you can rename.
