Photoshop HW

1. Gradient Tool- The gradient tool is the rectangular shaped box on the tool palette which has a shadow across it and gets darker from left to right.
Pen Tool- The pen tool is the tool that looks like a calligraphy pen pointing up in the air.
Shape Tool- In order to make a shape, you have to click on the rectangle button. The difference between the shape tool and the gradient tool is the shape tool has no shadow inside it.
2. The background will become a black an white scale. The bottom will be the black end while the top will be the white end. There will be a multitude of gray tones in the middle which get darker as you go down the image.
3. You can change the settings for the gradient tool by clicking on the the gradient picker in the top left corner and choose the setting which goes from a solid color to a checkered pattern.
4. You have created vector art.
5.This is not a closed path.
6. The rectangle will be black.
7. You go to the same shape as describes in the first question and hold it for a longer time. Multiple options will pop up and the ellipse tool is the one you would want to use.
8. 72 dpi
9. dpi= dots per inch
10. They will print the same size. This is because photo B is only zoomed in on, not a different size then photo A.
